Jack Bacon led the singing of Red River Valley in recognition of Debbie McBride’s departure as song leader.  Debbie will be moving to Cozumel in December.  Carlos Villagomez led the prayer, followed by Bob Taggart leading the Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. Flag, and Bob Mitchell with the Four Way Test.  Sheryl Berg introduced visitors and guests.

Roger Donnelly announced that he had received between 35-40 reservations for the Christmas dinner at Bay Oaks Country Club on December 15th.  The cost is $32, and head count must be turned in December 10th.  President Elect Mike Dennard noted that there would  be a short meeting of the Shrimporee Planning Committee afer the Club meeting today.  The Golf group is meeting this Thursday at 8 am at Timbercreek.  Contact Dick Hergert for additional information.  Members are reminded that next week's meeting will be at the University of Houston Clear Lake.

Nancy Mallini introduced Jennifer Emshoff, head of the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) Agricultural Sciences Program, as well as Danielle Young (at mike) and Trent Lilley, students at Clear Lake High School.  They gave a brief overview of the Agricultural Sciences curriculum and talked about the upcoming Livestock Show and the CCISD partnership with NASA, the Texas Longhorn Association, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.  The CCISD Livestock Show and Auction will be held January 24-27, 2011 at the CCISD Agricultural Event Center on NASA Road One near Challenger Park.  Community support in the form of sponsorships and auction buyers is needed.  The proceeds from the show will help cover animal expenses and assist with college scholarships.  A short question and answer session followed, and the meeting was adjourned by President Elect Mike Dennard.
